Good fan, but thin plastic.

I originally bought two of these fans to mount on the top of the case for better ventilation. They are relatively slow and very quiet, but still move enough air for my needs. I feel like the top of my case gets hot when the system is under load. I use the Asus fan controller for my motherboard to run the fans slowly and quietly until the temperature starts to rise. I had to buy a third fan because one of my original two broke. These are very light and fragile fans. To be fair I broke it while…

Ceiling fan for your tower

I received this to replace my CoolMaster (OEM) fan that came with my case and started making noise. You'll notice the RPM isn't listed in the description, but FYI it's ONLY 800. So it moves air, but don't expect it to work as a whole house fan. It's more like a slow ceiling fan. It's acceptable, but I wish I could get something around 1000 rpm or higher. I have a fan controller that I can use to speed it up or slow it down, so it's not a big deal. It's not loud. I have 5 fans, not including…

Fourth, the best I've ever had

My case is missing the plastic strip at the top and it's so old I'll probably never find a replacement. This gave me "problems" with the top fan, it's so big. This is my fourth. The first three didn't have good protection, they never sat straight, and eventually the fan blades caught and started banging against the side until they snapped and died. This latest version of Thermaltake fan cannot get stuck because it changed the way it is placed. It took a bit of fiddling to install, but once I…

Suitable for Thermaltake Armor+ MX cases.

This fan is almost a direct replacement for the side fan that comes with the Thermaltake Armor+ MX case, minus the LEDs. You don't need old nuts and bolts as the screws that come with this fan go through the screw holes on the side panel and screw directly into the fan. Out of the box, you have two choices for connecting power: a two-pin 12V connector, or an adapter that allows you to connect to a standard IDE power connector. The sound level is stable at 58 dB. I measured the sound with a…

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Этот вентилятор перемещает МНОГО воздуха, и в целом я хотел, чтобы он работал, так как я склонен выжимать слишком много из своего графического процессора, что делает охлаждение критичным to me. In particular when I make it blow inwards I see great results cooling my entire machine where some of my components reached 110 degrees C. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the fan to run quietly. It's very quiet when running on its own and not plugged into my Cooler Master computer case…

High-quality case fan Fans

The quality of this fan convinced me. It's not just "quiet"; it makes no noise at all. Airflow is excellent. It replaced a CoolerMaster fan whose bearing began to wobble after less than a year of use. I no longer sit at the computer and think: "What is that noise? Drive not working? However, unfortunately I could not use this fan for the front air intake because it is too thick. It's 30mm while I need a 20mm fan for that position. So I use this Thermaltake Pure 20 for my ceiling hood in my…
