Intermittent connectivity issues fixed

This amp solved my problem of losing or dropping communication with transmitters on my 32ft RV. I liked that no configuration is required - just plug it in, the green light on and everything worked. After several rides not a single drop. Mounted on the front of the trailer body beneath the hitch frame and hardwired to a 7 pin harness (pin 1 negative, pin 4 positive) for automatic power supply when the trailer is coupled to the tractor.

The item works but the body and attachment points are fragile.

I bought a tire change kit, it comes with a nice built in antenna, waterproof booster etc. looks cheap but works. I think the tire shop ads are a bit fake, they say the booster is for LHVs only, but that's bullshit. I was using a pickup with a short trailer and kept losing the signal. In my opinion you need a booster for every tractor, so that's what the tire changer should say. I also need to be able to put an amplifier on the back of the tow vehicle next to the hitch and get a signal. TM says

Excellent product for proper communication between tire sensors and ECU.

Essential for anyone using the TireMinder TPMS system on a trailer, RV or RV. This ensures that all wheel units communicate with the main controller and provide correct information about the condition of the tractor's tires. With so many different types of equipment emitting radio signals that can cause interference, it's extremely important that you have real-time information about the condition of your tractor's tires. There's nothing worse than an avoidable release. Invest with peace of mind

Works as intended and advertised

I bought this booster to work with my TPMS tire monitoring system for my caravan. First I tried the system without a booster, but the distance from each sensor to the monitor/display in my SUV was too far and I lost the signal from time to time. After installing this amp in the front of my trailer I had no problems with signal loss. Just completed my first long trip of 1550 miles in all conditions including rain, snow, ice and wind gusts in excess of 40mph and the system worked flawlessly…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Update available

Does exactly what I expected. Works great with Rrtizan TPMS (available here at Revain). The owner's manual only mentions compatibility with Tire Minder systems, but this should work with any standard 433.92MHz TPMS system. I recently installed Rrtizan TPMS so I can keep a close eye on tire issues on my caravan. . I recently picked up my trailer from the store after a tire blew out causing over $9,000 worth of damage to the trailer. The steel straps tore a large hole in the floor of the trailer…
