Topeak Pressure TJB S6 TwinHead 62002040AFFP Review

This pump is quite durable and able to get the job done. I replaced my old one because it doesn't have a pressure gauge. Nothing special, but overall a great pump!

This pump does a good job/pressure to inflate a bike tire to a higher pressure of 85psi. The pump appears to be smaller, but that is to be expected from any pump. This is a great product.

This is the second Topeak Joe Blow floor pump I've bought. Both were of excellent quality. The piston skirt is larger in diameter than I expected. This leads me to believe that both pumps will have a very long service life. The built in pressure gauge is very handy and appears to be accurate. The air port attachment mechanism easily attaches to either valve type. This is a well designed and excellent pump.

Very good replacement pump for a very old one that I lost earlier. Bright display and large text. The pumping height is suitable for smaller people who are also nothing at 5 feet. Some others are vertical pumps and cannot be pushed down when the pressure is increased. The only place it could be better is on the dual valve... it's pretty shallow so you'll need to make sure you're pushing hard and deep before dogfighting. The print is done. Side latch takes a little getting used to, my other pump worked differently and closed quicker without worrying about stem flexing. 08/08 {EDIT Rather annoying that both hands are required}. The hose quickly fills the large volume in the pump well. EDIT 08/08 [short hose interferes with use, rotation needs to be moved, lever adjustment needs to be moved to put pump and wheel in correct place. I bought these to replace an old Park Tool pump and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. I also reviewed a variety of other pumps, some of which were much larger. The valve connector interested me the most. The valve retainer specifically for the Presta valve works very well, doesn't leak and is truly one of the best I've used. The pressure gauge is accurate and is confirmed by a separate high-end pressure gauge. I am very happy with my purchase and glad I no longer have to fiddle…

First off, 1984 Silca rail pumps aren't known for their super accurate gauges. The fact that this pump runs about 1/2 atmosphere less than a good quality handheld gauge is neither surprising nor worthy of exhausting stars in my opinion. It is listed at the top of other reviews and top 10 sites. You are right. Slightly more expensive than a cheap pump, but the gauge is larger and easier to read than a cheap pump. It has a stamped metal base that holds the pump securely when you step on it to inflate. The pump nozzle has a shrader (large) on one side and a presta (small) on the other side, allowing the blockage "at a distance” from the tube shaft to determine the direction of airflow.
