Easy for my hands: stamp

I have tendinitis in all my fingers so it's not so easy to cut blocks now. I tried several alternatives to linoleum blocks, but the carvings were rough and grainy, losing fine detail. The soft rubber tosnail blocks are easy to cut and leave sharper edges, allowing for fine detail. I will buy this product again.

Both sides can be cut

I am new to this craft. I judged these blocks to be just the right strength. Not too soft, not too hard. As a beginner, I also liked that they were thick enough that I could cut two threads on each side of each block. Honestly, as a beginner, I used one side as practice before cutting out the final piece on the other side.

  • Stamps
Cons
  • Thin

Great stamp, but be careful with solvents!

Great rubber stamp for use with water or oil paints! Wash with soap and water. I have used acrylic paint with no problems and writing ink with no problems BUT the solvent I used to clean the stamp ink set which was a solvent made specifically to clean rubber lamps dissolved my stamp! I used the same thinner with a different rubber stamp and it wasn't a problem, so I'm guessing this rubber is just chemically different? Anyway, now I have super, super limited prints. Oops.
