Costs money! on First Aid

I can't believe this bandage actually lasted the 7 days it took me before changing the patch. And not a drop of water got under the bandage.

Can be a safe replacement for tape

Safe replacement for tape on elderly skin. Skin tears that develop on old, very thin skin are difficult to treat. Many are bandaged with a gauze roll around the site of the original injury. Adhesive tape is not effective as it can rip or tear fragile skin when removed. This product has been found safe for the skin types tested. Please test this product on healthy, sensitive skin before using it on broken skin or other wounds. It may not be for your skin.

  • Free for educational purposes

Great product for first aid

So my husband works full time and this year he was under a lot of stress and had psoriasis for the first time. We tried band-aids and non-stick gauze bandages to keep the meds from rubbing into his clothes. Not only did it get expensive, but the glue was very irritating to his skin. He moved about 15 huge bandages a day. When he started sticking the cling film on his body, I thought he'd finally hopped on the train to the crazy city. Luckily it got me thinking about this tattoo tape and itโ€ฆ

Just like Tegaderm, but AVAILABLE!

I am so glad I found and ordered this product! This product works the same as Nexcare Tegaderm which costs about $8 for a pack of 8 2.36" x 2.76" dressings, averaging $0.15 or 15 cents per square inch. This clear elastic adhesive costs $17.99 for a 6" x 395" roll, which averages out to $0.003, or one-third of a penny per square inch! Tegaderm is 450% more expensive. Not only is it incredible value, it can also be cut to size; Tegaderm cannot be trimmed without damaging the immediate use portion

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it, everything is fine

Bought to protect the dressing

We bought these after my husband had surgery and a similar product was used over the wound dressing. Knowing he would have more surgeries, we wanted something that could be used at home. The only criticism was that there were no instructions for use. True, I figured it out, but time could be saved. A small strip is pre-cut on one side of the plastic for beginners. We found that flexing and retracting a large part when pressed in worked well. Then a small strip can be removed and pressed. Inโ€ฆ

There are blisters on my tattoo!

So I decided to give it a try, saw the reviews and decided to give it a try! WORST MISTAKE! I got the tattoo on Wednesday (2 days ago). I decided to try it as it would help healing so I applied it yesterday one day after the tattoo, woke up this morning two days after the tattoo. to the blisters around the bandage and under the bandage where my tattoo was I decided I would remove it hoping it would stop the blisters from growing. a square mark on my skin and everything is red. Great product when you are ready

This is more of a prepare warning than a rating. in a simple place to take care of yourself. The artist sent me home with 2 sheets of Saniderm. The 1st sheet worked fine, the 2nd sheet accidentally ruined the wife but it lasted a day. So, just in case, we opened what I had already ordered. I needed a product large enough to cover my arm. Lots of good reviews so fingers crossed. The product works great. It was actually more convenient than Saniderm. I played 2 hockey games in it, went fishingโ€ฆ

Best Fresh Tattoo Care

I used this to cover up a huge fresh tattoo on my chest and one on my arm. The outline was such a pain I couldn't take my eyes off work to let it heal but as I worked my shirt kept rubbing against the healing tattoo so when I went to color and shading I had my artist over it Instruct. Holy wow. If only I had known that sooner! It was much more bearable! The tattoo healed much faster and I had no reaction to the glue. Most medical tapes leave my skin red and scarred, this one showed no reaction,
