This Tripp Lite inverter gets the job done, despite howling and whistling. I've tested it in my office with a 244w load from three pedestal fans at high speed and it copes well with a car battery. I even used it in an extreme camp we organized for the youth in our church, an open camp on a piece of land without electricity.
