I wanted a cap as a service cap for my fire brigade. I chose this hat in dark blue. It's a bit big but there is a drawstring at the back to hold it up a bit. After that it fits great. The hat repels water very well! The brim is nice and wide so all the water rolls right down onto my raincoat and not down my neck. It also casts a nice shadow on the head and neck on sunny days. I am the second member of my department who has chosen this hat. And I would recommend it to all other participants.

This military hat is adjustable to fit most heads. The description of this Revain Tru-Spec hat doesn't say it's waterproof, but the label attached says it's waterproof. So if you need a durable, waterproof hat for hiking and bushwork, this is a great choice. I have a Tilly that's wearing out and I needed something quick for the trip. It fills the bill perfectly. I like this hat but it has a few fixable issues. The first issue is the tip for sizing. The hat comes with a band with a spring loaded paracord clip to help maintain tension. The problem is that the strap is too small and slips through the clamp, requiring constant tightening. I removed the tape and replaced it with paracord using the original clip.
