We are renovating a rental home and one of the tubs broke. We bought this to fix it and although the color has changed a bit it's great. It's easy to use and comes with step-by-step instructions. Also save a lot of money because we don't have to replace the whole bathtub.

Very pleased with this item. There was a small chip in the tub and this thing patched it up nicely. Very simple instructions, no strange smell. The kit included sandpaper and blending tools. After smoothing, the stain is barely noticeable. Cheaper solution compared to other options.

That saved me from having to pay for the adjustment now. It's easy to blend but very difficult to smooth. The sandpaper you received requires a lot of energy and patience. I suggest only applying small layers at a time and letting it dry. Don't use a spatula as it will never become smooth. It's a bit see-through so the chips won't look perfect, but it saves you the hassle of swapping out the whole tub.

I did a test with this before using it to repair a shower pan. The color match was pretty good, but the product never reached the hardness of a gelcoat on the pan surface, making sanding less effective. I ended up using JB Weld Marine White Epoxy. It cured well and fitted together so well after polishing that the repair was almost invisible even when I knew it was there and looking for it. This white epoxy is just what the doctor ordered for white china or other white kitchen/shower/bathroom repairs. It grabs very well and heals pretty hard. Once cured, it definitely resembles plastic, but it's a hard plastic. If you're not very good at applying things like sealer and paint, this might be a little disappointing.
