Worked great. I was hesitant to buy after reading some of the low star reviews but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. No more holding the gate with your head on cold days. They are smaller in diameter than my stock pistons, but still work fine at 35* at night. Very easy installation, took 15 minutes even with finding tools. I was initially hesitant to buy it as some reviews said it wasn't strong enough to raise or hold the tailgate open.
