The pro is that it's made of high-quality material and the feel of the tool is solid. The con is that it's quite pricey, but it's worth the investment for the amazing results it gives!

Gave it to my neighbor who was trying to sand a hollowed out bowl by hand (not on a lathe). Absolutely the right tool for the job!

So far I have only used this product on hand carved spoons. It does an excellent job of smoothing out the wood, especially in those hard-to-reach places where the curve reverses. The combination of concave and convex surfaces is ideal for working with a spoon that has few flat surfaces. All in all, it's a simple tool that works well.
