My daughters 2007 Honda Civic did not make air conditioning. We found that their factory fan was still running at low speed, but stopped working at high speed, requiring a replacement. I bought this fan and installed it in a matter of hours using basic hand tools and watching and studying a few YouTube videos. He's done well with several years of service in HOT Texas to keep their Hondas cool. Excellent value for money and quality!

Pros
  • All components are new, not reconditioned
Cons
  • Something else

Wire cover missing, lousy packaging.

Not a perfect copy of the original equipment, but it works Mine did not come with the one pictured cable cover. I was able to transfer it from old broken hardware, but I had to bend it to fit (remember what I said about it not being a perfect copy). Delivery was a problem. The product box was placed in a large shipping box with ZERO gap filler which made it rattle like a maracas inside. So the mounting pin at the bottom was bent so I bent it with pliers and it fit. Due to the crappy packaging…

  • Regulatory compliance through patent license agreements with Bosch/Continental VDO (where applicable) for turbine-like blade and shroud designs that provide an added level of reliability and protection
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Works after installation

Unfortunately, the fan I ordered arrived in a box that appears to have undergone some rough and tumble acrobatics. After inspecting for damage I couldn't find any, but the shield covering the exposed wires wasn't installed and I was able to fit the old shield to the failed OEM fan, but it was extra work caused by a lack of good quality control was caused . Because I needed to get my car running I didn't want to waste time returning the fan, wait another week and maybe have the same problem, so…

Pros
  • One-size-fits-all replacement unit with fan, motor and shroud provides maximum replacement efficiency
Cons
  • There are new competitors
