First 2 weeks this cap was great. I only had to charge it 3 times and the light was very bright. Unfortunately the connector from the battery to the bulbs does not provide a reliable connection after the last charge and the light is very dim. If I wiggle and tug on it, I can get it fully lit, but I have to hold both the plug and the battery compartment. Love this hat. It's quite light. You can hardly tell it's light, so you won't look like an idiot wearing it around town. It is very convenient when you take it with you anywhere. UPDATE The seller returned my money but then contacted me to give the hat a second chance. A replacement cap was sent to me, I opened the battery compartment and found that the battery was now held securely in place with double sided tape.
