UNISEAL Flexible Tank Adapter Bulkhead Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Plumbing via Fittings Review

Here's the trick: 1) Boil the gaskets 2) Use a Dremel/Grinder to narrow the ends of the pipe and 3 ) use soap and water. I did all of these things (as suggested by other reviews) and the install was pretty easy. It still required some muscle power. But I was able to install each seal/pipe in about 15 seconds (after preparation). The seals are tight and there are no leaks. I used a 3" drill bit to install these 2" gaskets. Worked great!

Installation was a lot easier than I expected after reading some of the other reviews. I beveled the tubes to make them easier to fit through the seals and also smeared some dish soap as a lube and they went through with no problems but very good connections and no leaks on 55 gallon plastic kegs. I am very happy with these products as the price was good and they seem to be very durable.

Many reviews recommend using soapy water to help ease pipe installation in Uniseals. It really helps, but 2 inch gaskets are a serious job! I resorted to inserting the tube into the leading edge of the gasket and then pushing the gasket into the hole. You have to be at a perfect 90 degree angle to do this, and that's difficult.
