Unreliable. Rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Regulated without sequence. After 3 months he stopped holding the pressure and everything flowed. Used nylon strap and all recommended. It's just cheap. Invest in something good.

Pros
  • Provides precise CO2 control
Cons
  • Hard to tell

no plastic like in the D-201 kit

I bought this to replace the needle valve that came with the D-201 CO2 DIY kit. This valve is all metal, not plastic as in kit D-201. Installed yesterday, updated after a month of use. So far it looks like a great product.

Pros
  • product packaging weight is 0.24lbs
Cons
  • dull packaging

Better than the stock valve

I bought this to replace the regulator that comes with their DIY CO2 setup (about $20 per setup). The old valve quickly stopped maintaining a constant flow. I used it in a 10 gallon aquarium and gassed the fish. This new brass valve is a little better, but not by much. If you're stuck with this low-tech solution, then this valve is for you. The only thing this setup really did was show me why CO2 is good and why people spend a lot of money on a regular CO2 valve. I will continue to use this…

Pros
  • Connectors have their own flow control valve
Cons
  • Nothing here
