🌀 Hose for Dyson DC24 The Ball Upright Vacuum - Genuine Replacement Suction Hose Assembly (Part 914702-01) Review

The original hose for my Dyson vacuum broke and a factory replacement was $30. This one was a lot cheaper and had some great reviews so I took a chance which was a mistake. I may have gotten a bad hose, but every time I use the hose attachments and bend the hose to any angle, the clamp at the base pops out and there is no suction. So annoying. I wish I could send it back but it's too late. Save yourself the frustration and shell out for an expensive version that actually works.

Arrived earlier than the date stated :) Recommend watching a youtube video showing how to remove the old Dyson DC 24 hose bracket and how to position the new hose correctly. Very helpful. This hose has a RED button, it's just a little darker than the original. Since the house is new, I recommend stretching it once you've attached the handle by snapping it into place. **NOTE** My original hose heard the red clip just below the moving cable arm, the three new hoses had the red clip on the side. When the little red button on my original hose broke I thought I would never use the hose again. This is such a stupid part. It's basically a plastic rocker switch with a spring underneath, but it gives you the option to detach the handle from the hose when you're done with it, so that's a big deal!
