prosecco was not chilled as advertised. When I received it parts were loose and I had to send it back immediately. Instead, I put the thing back on and then tried it in the freezer a few months later. No, it doesn't work at all AND the train broke on first use. DEFECTIVE item and does not work as advertised. Can blast chillers work because metal cans conduct cold much better than glass cans. Don't waste money.

These Vacu Vin frozen "jackets" for your champagne can't properly chill a warm bottle in my opinion, but they do an excellent job of keeping a chilled bottle nice cold when you drink it. Nobody wants warm champagne and nobody wants a dirty ice bucket. If you start with room temperature champagne, place the bottle in the freezer for ONE hour to chill. Pay attention; set a timer. You don't want a mess in your freezer! You can then take the bottle out of the freezer, slip on a Vacu Vin jacket and…
