Love that it comes in and out - not just a paper filter - Pleasantly surprised at how easy it glides on and fits perfectly in my Bissell. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats so I use it a lot and have to change the filter often. It's much easier than taking it apart to replace the paper filter. The downside is that it's plastic, so it shouldn't be thrown in the trash, but it's easy enough to separate the paper from the plastic for recycling.

For goodness sake they do NOT fit the Bissell Pet Vac. For those who say it suits their emptiness. Of course it fits, but the shape of the component is wrong and it doesn't seal. There are gaps and they are not small. Any suction you have not only goes into the filter (as it should), but around the filter and into the actual base of the vacuum, which can damage the motor and at the very least push dust back into the vacuum. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

They don't quite fit my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser but they are snug enough and the slight gap on the sides doesn't seem to affect how it works. I received these in the mail today and wanted to see if they really fit my Bissell pet hair eraser. Looking at other reviews I didn't understand why they said it didn't fit and wondered whether I should buy it or not. There is a matching part number and in my case 1782 was the correct filter for my handheld vacuum. It matches the number on my backbox.
