Love this knife on Kitchen & Dining

I had a pair of Cutco serrated knives that were disappearing and wanted to replace them without paying the price. So I tried these knives and they are very sharp and easily cut through anything.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Ordered two, only one was right

I used to order one of these. I wish it was a bit wider but it cuts great. I ordered two more and when they arrived only one had a rounded tip, the other was shorter with a sharp tip. I kept it anyway, but wish they both had a rounded tip.

Cons
  • Good but not great

Very sharp, light, maneuverable and slightly safer with a rounded end.

I've always been enthusiastic about Victorinox, ever since a family member gave me a tomato knife. I wanted these knives because of the round tip as I think it would be a bit safer at the dinner table with our picky 3 year old. Very sharp. With my big hands I would have liked a slightly larger grip, but they are just right for smaller people like my mum. These knives are really valued for how well they perform.

These knives are my favorite knives in my kitchen

These knives are my favorite knives in my kitchen. These are the first ones I reach for when I can get away with using them to cut what I'm trying to cut. The reason I like them is that they are very sharp and small which makes them easy to use. I love their serrated feature which is often what makes them so effective at slicing bread, tomatoes and many other things. The reason I am rating this tool 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. For me they are relatively expensive; I wish they…

Stars in the kitchen

I love knives from Victorinox. I'm deducting a star because I didn't receive what I ordered. Revain is great for returns and doesn't make many mistakes in my opinion given the volume of items shipped. I am disabled and getting things back is a bit problematic. The knife I received will continue to be a great utility knife for my daughter. I just got a similar one last week and use it every day. I can't believe how hot he is. (I believe that more now since I cut my finger last night.) It works…

Not just for steak on steak knife

I bought this knife for my wife because I know she prefers small knives for most kitchen cutlery. She loves it very much and can't get over how perceptive he is. I love it so much because I don't have to constantly sharpen it. Kitchen knives don't dull so quickly when cutting onions and steaks. They fade quickly when dragged across the cutting board. I don't think I'll ever break this habit from my wife. But therein lies the beauty of a serrated kitchen knife. Only the tips touch the cutting…

Absolutely exceptional!

I need a serrated knife that's shorter than my bread knife so I can cut tomatoes, peaches, and other foods that have a different skin than the inner flesh. The serrated ones cut through "tougher" skin much better without ruining the tender meat, and having bought this company's chef's knife (based on Cook's Illustrated recommendation) I figured it was probably a good knife. The price was definitely right and to my complete satisfaction I have used this knife a lot since buying it a few months…
