🔪 Victorinox Edge-Mag 12-1/2-Inch Magnetic Knife Blade Protectors - Set of 3 Review

Bought this item to cover a 12 inch paring knife. It fits perfectly. I trimmed other knives to match other knives in my collection. Easy to open, quick to attach to the knife and easy to line up and close. Would I buy again.

I have bought several of these magnetic knife cases to fit all my knives in a work knife case and a home knife roll. They serve as edge protection and hold securely. I've been using them for a little over a year and will be buying more.

I use one of these for my carving knife: a 12” Victorianox Granton Edge slicer with a Fibrox handle. The knife is too long for my knife holder and too sharp to fit freely in the kitchen drawer. These protectors tightly cover the blade of the knife and are deep enough not to touch the cutting surface. I would definitely buy them again.

Received today. I needed a larger blade guard for my 12" Victorinox slicer and 10" cimeter knife, both of which are included in my 8-piece Victorinox Master BBQ knife set. I'm going to keep them in a drawer or kitchen utensil and I need something to protect me and the blades. They work great. I used a 3rd attachment for a chef's knife that I already had.

Victorinox is one of my favorite knife brands. They also make knife guards. But. This was returned. Like a chef who carries his knives around, my knife bag becomes heavy enough for all my tools. Adding three of them made it harder! But, and this is a big BUT, it protects your knives. Keeps your knives in place and won't move. Unlike other edge protectors, it does not come off. Well, if you don't carry knives.

This is a great blade guard. I used it to coat my 12 inch Victorinox Granton Edge knife. Fits perfectly.
