🚀 Experience Enhanced Performance with Volant 162576 Air Intake System Review

Based on my experience with this Automotive Performance Air Intake, I do not recommend it. The installation process was difficult and the promised horsepower increase was not noticeable. The only positive aspect was the quality of the materials used in the build. On the other hand, the performance gains were marginal at best and not worth the hefty price tag. Overall, I was disappointed with this purchase and do not believe it lived up to its claims.

Installation was pretty easy. In general this is a good unit. I installed it at the same time as the 90mm throttle so there was definitely a difference but I can't tell which mod. One thing that bothers me is that it draws air in through a hole in the front which is fine but the Challenger has a huge snorkel that draws air from the lower grille. I'm not sure why they didn't use that instead of sticking a small tube in it. Strange in my opinion. I want CAI to use this default setup.

Installed on a 2013 Challenger R/T: here is my breakdown. Sound: amazing, just damn awesome! Performance: Excellent lighted tires after installation. I think more hp! Installation: Pretty tricky when the pipe goes into the fender to get the vent shield and remove it. I broke a few joints while installing this part. Assembly from above was a breeze.
