My analysis of this car filter intake showed that it significantly increased horsepower and improved throttle response. The installation was also straightforward, with clear instructions provided.

Product build looks good. Fitting it to my 2003 wasn't easy, I had to trim the bottom of the box to fit the intercooler tube, after sorting everything out the supplied screws were too short. This then interfered with my headlight adjuster, so I ended up modifying it. The pipe from the turbine to the casing is sealed. However, the seams of the product work well.

I bought this to drive a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9. Delivery took a while but everything was well packaged. Inside the box was a Powercore filter, box, hose, fasteners and instructions (not required). The box and tube are made of hard plastic. Installation was a bit difficult due to the location of the box. I had to move a few tubes to get a good fit. The supplied screws are not long enough. I called Volant, they sent me longer ones. Instead of waiting I had longer ones (1 1/2"). They look great.
