Clearly poor quality control

Clearly poor quality control. The parking brake brackets were incorrectly labeled. The shoe on the left was marked "RH" and the shoe on the right was marked "LH". Also missing were the hinge pin and holes for the regulator mount.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

A good replacement is Brake System

I replaced these brake pads in my '06 Chevy Cobalt. I've tried different brands over the years. After tired of cheap stuff (lifetime warranty) from Autozone and Orailly. I chose Wagner in my Jeep TJ and Cobalt. Wagner appears to be of good quality and does not start to squeak like other brands after 6 months. Wagner and AC delco are the brands that have performed best in my vehicles.

Pros
  • Drum Brake
Cons

Poor quality control

The right side shoe where the parking brake cable engages the parking brake lever was badly damaged. It appeared the stamping press had been misaligned at the factory and deformed the part. I needed my car to be serviced asap. No time to return for a replacement. After a lot of editing with template files and the dermal tool, I adjusted it. Maybe it was an accident, but in my experience don't expect an install crash. OEM shoes.

Pros
  • Braking system
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Does not fit latest HHR :O(

They do not fit latest HHR as stated by Revain. Shoes appear to be good quality. However, they do not fit my 2009 Chev HHR. There are differences in Hole positions. Most notably, the hole where the self-adjusting pivot mounts is missing. This makes them useless. Do they fit early HHRs ok? Late ones have a slightly different rear brake adjustment. But I've seen 2006 and 2007 rear brakes on video and they different from mine. Hope this helps someone.
