I recommend purchasing the black Wahl Professional Premium Cutting Guides, as well as the optional Premium 1/2 and 1 1/2 Guards, sold separately. I received the wire cutters and the first thing that struck me as odd was that the outer packaging did not match the wire cutters that were in the box at all. The outer packaging showed a newer clipper design and inside the box were old clippers with scratches, fingerprints and hair clippings, although small they were definitely there.
