This desk is made of durable wood, chipboard for the back panel and solid drawer/door mechanisms. It took 3 hours to assemble with one person, but all you need is a Phillips screwdriver. GREAT find!

We needed something to organize the document flow before the stacks overwhelmed and buried us, and here it is. My husband put it together; said instructions were great including all parts + spares well packaged no damage. Takes a lot of time but is manageable. I am very happy with the result, I recommend.
