Works perfectly. - Heaters

Bought this truck for my husband for the winter. He hated scraping ice/snow off the windshield on a chilly, dark morning! With Warm Guard, he can get into his truck in the morning and immediately start driving in a warm cab with no ice/snow on the windshield. A small gift for a hardworking man.

Pros
  • This heater must be powered by an electrical extension cord. Pull the extension cord through the truck door.
Cons
  • Obsolete

Panhandle in North Idaho, 22 degrees, 2 inches of snow.

Just got this as a Christmas present, I have a Dodge 2500 Quad Cab that needs to be out all winter and this unit will hold it all my windows away from ice or snow. I love it and it really exceeds my expectations. No more shattering windshields or windows.

Pros
  • Saves the time and hassle of cleaning frozen windows in extreme cold
Cons
  • Negative is present

Only worked for two seasons.

I placed this (fully unfolded) blanket on the dashboard of my Ford pickup truck on winter evenings during the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons. I live in Idaho where it can get pretty cold and this has worked incredibly well these two seasons. I've tried using it this season and it only works intermittently. I checked the power strip and it is fine in every position. If I turn the blanket over, I may or may not be able to get it to heat up. Just two seasons. Not happy at all.

Pros
  • Very affordable; The operating costs for this heater are about 1 cent per hour.
Cons
  • Repair
