Leaky Disaster - Avoid Buying

According to my experience with this backpack, it is not at all waterproof. I was devastated to find all of my belongings completely soaked after walking to school in the rain. The only positive is that it has a spacious design. However, if you're looking for a reliable waterproof backpack for your child, this is not the one.

Very cute with lots of storage space

Such a cute backpack, nobody else has it. The doll she received was perfect, no messy head or weird hair like other reviews. The color is bright. Lots and lots of pockets! It's great for school and travel. We took it to Mexico and it had enough space for all her stuff. It feels a bit heavy but my 7 year old carried it and all her stuff with no problem.

I was annoyed that it only lasted 4 months

The belts couldn't stand it - this bag was carried by a 3rd grader. Every day she puts her sweater in it and a folder in which she occasionally puts a book or two from the library. After 4 months the strap started to detach from the bag. I took a picture of the front of the bag so you can see how good the backpack is. It's a shame how our 3rd graders LOVE! this backpack. It's reasonably priced for a kid's backpack - should help!
