5-Finger Waterproof G1 5mm Gloves Review

Amazing to get such warmth with such flexibility in fingers. They sit well on the wrist and the zippers are of excellent quality. They're definitely made for cold water and they really come through. They are worth their price.

Fantastic glove. Easy to put on and take off when wet. My hands have never been cold, even in 45F water. Very comfortable to wear and 5mm thick, it's no harder to manipulate things than any other 5mm glove. Fits as expected. I have a 7.5 inch palm and the small one is perfect.

Haven't dived with them yet but the reinforcement that helps with donning along with the zip for on/off really fits what I bought them for. I'm sure they will be warm enough. And no, I don't expect them to be waterproof. People need to understand that these are wetsuit type gloves. They're supposed to keep your hands warm. Not dry.

Bought on recommendation from my dive buddy. Really good gloves. The zipper makes it easy to put on and take off and ensures a snug fit, slowing down water penetration and minimizing flushing. The long cuff and seal also help minimize flow. While they feel a bit stiff when dry, they are quite flexible when wet. It's pretty easy to get material for a 5mm glove. If they're durable, they're worth the price, but only time will tell how long they'll last.

These gloves are awesome. I dive in pretty cold water in a wetsuit and finding the perfect gloves was a challenge. They are very warm and very well made. Very easy to put on and take off. The zipper can open during a dive if it is outside the sleeve of the suit. I found that rolling up the sleeve and slipping it over the suit's semi-dry wrists and then rolling up the suit sleeve over it solved the zipper issue. Great warm and comfortable gloves!

Great gloves. They fit pretty snugly compared to work or driving gloves. They're incredibly warm and easy to hold on to with a pre-curved shape. The zip slips a bit, but if you quickly grab the zip after it's closed and pull the cuff towards the zip seam, it's not a problem (unless you have big wrists, of course).
