🥾 All-Weather Insulated Boys' Shoes and Boots with Weatherproof Closures Review

This is our first snowy winter and I bought these snow boots after 2 others didn't fit. I should have bought them beforehand. What I like best is that the straps make it easy for my 6 year old son to put them on and take them off by himself. He also said they are comfortable and keep his feet warm. We've had up to 6 feet of snow and he wore them both in deep snow and when sledding. My only recommendation is to go 2 sizes up. It's also great value for money and the quality is fantastic.

I live in New England so winters are usually pretty harsh - bought these for my boy who loves snow. I didn't want to spend more than $60 on "bean boots" if he just wanted to grow them out for the next winter season. These boots look nice, but as a lifelong New Yorker from upstate New York, I realized that as soon as I opened them, my son would complain. Here's my assessment: The sole is stiff and smooth. Yes, he has caterpillars. No, the freezing point is not affected by this. In addition, the sole does not bend, the treads clog quickly, and the rubber freezes and becomes like hard plastic.
