Excellent quality, pleasant feel

Excellent knife. Of course he's hot. It's brand new. But it fits perfectly in the hand, is easy to use and very ergonomic. The chic box it comes in makes it perfect as a gift. I feel like I reach for that knife every time.

Sharp and balanced cutlery and knife accessories

This is an impressive knife that compares well to some of my much more expensive knives. Excellent appearance, well balanced, very sharp. I would rate the fit and finish a B due to the wood overlapping a bit at the handle, but for the price it's great.

Color me Impressed on Kitchen & Dining

I'm a bit of a knife snob. Not bad, but a little. I usually use expensive brand name knives because I can rely on the performance. From time to time I find a good quality, inexpensive knife. This is one of them. I have mostly Henckels and a few others. This knife proved to be their equal in every respect. I am very impressed. The handle is comfortable, the balance is good, the blade sharpens for several hours of cutting.

Very nice dual purpose sharp chef's knife

Even if this is just an aesthetic touch, I should start by mentioning the beautiful inlaid mosaic needle on the handle! It's just a tiny but very kind gesture to do something as mundane as chop up a large onion and catch a glimpse - something that serves no useful purpose, just brightening up a small corner of my life! the knife itself. Very nice knife. I really like the more angular lines of the Kiritsuki-style blade, and the overall fit and finish is near perfect. The black micarta handle material has an interesting texture or "grain" and looks much better than regular black plastic.
