Cuts bread very well.

I just cut my dutch bread with a hard crust. You can cut, but not with this knife. She cut nice thin slices with no problem. This knife is perfection. I can't wait to bake another bread to slice.

The best knife in the kitchen and dining room

Received the knife and was amazed at how well made it was. Very sharp - which makes it very useful. From slicing steaks into thin slices to buttering toast, it works well for everything and is my favorite knife in my kitchen.

It's not a sandwich knife for me, but it's great for all my cutting needs.

Good wide blade with a very sharp blade. Cuts my salads etc very well. Heavy, easy to handle, solid knife. I love it so much I might buy another Wellstar knife. They are well made and heavy with good leverage.

Very nice sandwich knife

This sandwich knife is of high quality. The blade is hard and sharp. Works great with veggies and sandwiches. The only small recommendation is to use a good textured wood like olive or walnut for the handle to give it a more refined look.

This kid is big and strong.

Almost like a carving knife. But he quickly masters difficult things like a stale baguette, a bagel or a fatty carrot. Not too spicy and maybe too big to fit in a mustard jar. Cutting hard stuff just fine. I haven't actually used it to slice a sandwich, I suspect it cuts it better than it slices. Pleasant in the hand. I will not send it back.

One of the BEST knives I own and easy to use!

I wanted a more versatile knife. I have a bread knife, but it takes a lot of effort to use. I wanted something that could slice bread, meat, and other foods without a lot of cutting effort. This WELLSTAR knife is amazing. I found it didn't wobble and cut smoothly and easily. I have other knives that are much more expensive but they are not as comfortable and stable as the WELLSTAR knife.
