Looks exactly like the picture on the web. This is the perfect size for my small hand. It's easy to use without pulling or breaking my fine hair. I mainly use it to dry my bangs and frame my face. I like that the hair is styled nicely when heated. It also goes well through the hair. The only thing I don't like is that it sometimes catches on a hair or two where the barrel meets the grip. I also like the pointed end as it helps separate the hair.

Not like tourmaline/ceramic. 99.9% sure it's not. See attached photo. Just a very cheap thin plastic round brush. There is nothing special about this brush. Just like any other brush. I was also trying to replace my current brush and wasn't sure if I needed medium or large. It turned out large, but the previous brush was medium. Doesn't matter and doesn't work any differently regardless of size.
