I wouldn't buy it again

I installed it without prior testing and it was a failure. I should have read the questions before installing it. There is a lot of interference on the cable and all incoming signals are cut off and you cannot understand what is being said. I installed it in my cartridge and ran it through the firewall so I didn't have to solder a new end to it. Sounds like a lot, but didn't work for me. I'll take this as a lesson learned and not try to bring it back to avoid hassel.

Quality and guarantee

I didn't buy this for the cleanliness, bad question. I bought because of the name and wasn't home with my workstation to make my own. Wilson is tried and tested, and yes it's now made in China, but with specs superior to many cheaper brands. 1 year warranty. I had many Wilson antennas and accessories. It works, it works well and I know I won't have any problems in a pinch. If there is a problem, it will be solved quickly and without questions. Good product.

The second works like a charm.

The first gave a very high SWR but the second works great. Exchange as always without problems via Revain. Channels 1 and 40 have an SWR of around 1.3, while channel 20 has an SWR of 1.0. The weather channel is also becoming clearer. This is due to the Firestik II, the 90 degree connector at the end of the transmitter and the Cobra 29 LX. The FME connector did this in about 20 minutes (including routing through the firewall grommet and replacing all the zips). Almost too easy. The weatherproof…

Terrible quality. Run away.

Absolutely Terrible Design. This is the fourth Wilson coaxial cable with FM connectors that I have come across. It happens again and again that the fme connector is soldered to the coaxial cable. The coax on the picture is exactly 1 week old. I received reports that my transmission was very static and broken. When I pulled the CB out of the closet, the coax just fell apart. There was no binding or shock vibration. Very bad soldering only. I will never buy this type of coax from Wilson again and

Good quality and convenient route.

Good quality cable that allowed me to poke a small hole in my Wrangler's body. The only thing I wish it was a rubber grommet. I went to the hardware store and bought a grommet that sealed well clean fitting for me. The cable is long enough to reach the front of the Jeep Wrangler. I bought an antenna mount that screws behind the driver's side taillight, but I had to add some large self-tapping screws as there weren't enough screws for the taillight. Here's a tip: install the antenna on the…

Minor quality problem

The cable is well designed and made of good materials. The detachable PL-259 made installation easier. The only problem I had was the poor soldering of the PL-259 center conductor. On the outside of the end of the weather cover was a Pl-259 center pin. This would be a poor fit and not what I would have expected from a higher quality cable. Excess solder was easily removed with a very fine file. I could not find a way to notify the supplier that they need to check inventory and contact Wilson. I
