Great wireless trigger, no TCM function

Great wireless trigger for my Fuji X-T3 and Godox TT685 flash. I also have a couple of Godox X1R-C receivers connected to my Canon flashes (Canon 580EX II and Neewer NW-670) and can easily control them in manual mode (no TTL) with X2T-F on my Fuji. I really like Godox products. One note: while the instructions and description state that this X2T trigger has a TCM (TTL to manual power settings) capability, it does not. You need to buy a Godox XPro if you need this feature. It's still a fantastic

Snap On Camera Hot Shoe

I bought this Godox transceiver for my new Fuji XT4. I put it on a hotshot and blocked it, but then I couldn't unlock it and take it off. In the end I made it, but it wasn't easy. Haven't used it since but fixed the lock in the unlocked position so this problem doesn't happen again. I wonder if another model is better? I have Nikon versions that I bought a few years ago and have had no problems at all. It can only be new as I read other reviews. Not sure what exactly helped remove it, but Iโ€ฆ

No TTL pins on top hot shoe for Fuji

I have other versions of this device for my Fuji cameras and they have TTL pins on top hot shoe. When I got this version for my Fuji camera, I noticed that it doesn't have TTL pins on the top hot shoe. (in the canon version) This was the main limiting factor for me, so I returned it. It doesn't affect people who don't use the upper shoe, and other than that the device works great. As far as it does its job and works as intended by firing off remote flashes, it works flawlessly. Beware of the rigid hot shoe quick release system

I was inspired for this review by the new hot shoe quick release system which was extremely difficult to unlock at first. I was afraid of damaging either the camera or the shutter button and ended up having to use two hands to unlatch and take it off the camera. Even now, after many uses, it is sometimes very difficult to unlock it. I have used a similar quick release system from other manufacturers without too much difficulty. I had an X1T before and the UI is mostly an improvement. It isโ€ฆ

Greatly improved Godox command module over the old one

I have two of these units on my X-T2/T3. Group buttons have greatly improved the usability of this type of controller compared to the old one. The hot shoe lock works well and engages securely with a distinctive click. The battery is still accessible from below and is just as difficult to access in the camera as it was in the old one. battery indicator. Well, let's just say it takes a lot of work. Even with a fresh set of batteries, it still shows a loss of 1-2 strips. The menu system is alsoโ€ฆ

Cons
  • I'll write later

This fantastic trigger is reliable and a worthwhile upgrade for the X1T. Changing settings just got a lot easier with the addition of physical buttons and a dial at the bottom. But the best part is the ability to control the trigger from the Godox app! I find this particularly useful when taking architectural photos with multiple lights, as I often turn on the camera remotely and can't easily return to the camera to change settings. Now I can move around the house and change settings on the goโ€ฆ
