I must have clicked and bought the wrong horn. .

i must have clicked and bought the wrong horn. I wanted to buy it for my Harley Road King but didn't. It is too large at the mouth of the horn. But because of the cheap price I didn't send it back. Instead I modified it a bit to fit my bike. I had to cut off a small portion of the horn's mouth to fit properly in the horn body. It works great and is much louder than the standard horn. You can't even tell it's there. If you don't want to trim anything on it, I think it's definitely worth it.

Nice look, great sound, low price.

Okay, that horn sounds great. Mine arrived with a broken corner (it's plastic) and Revane gave me my money back and said I could keep it. I went ahead and modified it a bit with my dremel to mend the broken area and give it a smooth shape and the result was great. I really wanted a good black horn for my bike with a reasonable noise level, without complicated installation and without theft, and this one nailed it. I had to change the motorcycle plug to be able to plug it in and it worked fine…

Cheap, easy and reliable!

Fantastic! I replaced the stock horn on my Civic with this and so far it's working great. To be honest if you want something loud and obnoxious don't get this - the difference between my old horn and this one is that it squeaks less, with a little more bass tone. The price is literally half the price of the exact same part listed at your local parts store. Installation was easy, I decided to cut the existing 2 wiring harnesses from my old horn and used butt connectors to join them! I might try…

Stops working after 1 ride

I have mixed feelings about this product. I installed it on my bike to replace that pesky horn and it sounded great! It even made me wince when I first activated the horn because it was so loud. Unfortunately the horn worked after one ride. I would guess it's just overheating since it was near the engine block. I can't fault the horn for where I put it, but I wish it was made out of a stronger material than plastic so it could last more than one ride. All in all, if you're thinking of adding…

Loud enough for a motorcycle. Maybe buy two for the car.

I needed something more powerful and less Roadrunner-esque than the standard horn for my vintage bike. I wasn't expecting it to be a noisy articulated lorry and it isn't. It's loud enough to be heard over the bike, but it definitely won't blow your mind. The sound is pleasant, I chose the younger version. Installation was insanely easy. It comes with two clamps, I used both and just tied it to the frame. The horn can be connected with one or two wires, depending on how your bike works (two…

Great value and update.

Bought last summer but just found time to install it on my 18 year old FXFB. So far I've never bothered to check how I would install it, but after watching a few youtube videos on how to remove the standard horn I decided to upgrade. It's larger than the OEM and takes up more space, so I couldn't fit it in the same space as the original behind the bike frame, so it was mounted in front of the frame instead. I figured I would need some additional modifications and/or install it somewhere else on

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
