Womens Batwing Hooded Cloak Poncho - Coats, Jackets & Vests Collection Review

I had an outdoor wedding in November and needed something other than a winter coat to keep me warm. That was excellent. The size is listed as "One Size", which is very generous. I love it and got lots of compliments. This is a great item if you have fashion events during the colder months.

I am a tall woman, 5'6", 184lbs and the size fits me perfectly, maybe a little loose. It looks even better on my tall but thinner daughter. The faux fur pills a little, but not excessively. The hood looks very nice. This is not for petite women. I would say it looks best on tall and skinny girls.

This cape is AMAZING and so pretty! It was vacuum packed which made me nervous until I opened it. It is exactly as I expected! I ordered gray and loved it so much I went back and ordered ivory! Sits freely so there will be no problems landing. I'm 5'6" and hangs just below my bum and the hemline hits about mid-thigh. This can be dressed up or down. Just right for fall temps. LOVE IT!

On delivery I felt it needed a refresher as it was vacuum packed and didn't smell that fresh. I washed the cape on a gentle cycle, dried it on a low heat and removed it immediately after drying. It turned out to be a beautiful and perfect shape. The cape material and faux fur wash well in these cycles and now it looks and smells so fresh. In addition, it is a dense quality material and feels very warm! Looks high quality and is worth the price.

It was just beautiful. I wore it to our local pink tie ball. This is just what I needed to make my prom dress stand out. It wasn't too thin or thick. I got so many compliments. As you can see from the photo, it looks very elegant. It is easy to button on and off. I warn you that it has had a lot of molting after receiving it. I was pleasantly surprised when the cloak arrived. For the price the quality is good. The fur trim is very soft, although as other reviewers have noted, it sheds a bit at first and you may have to trim excess strands or shake them to get rid of loose fur. Wool is medium weight and not suited for very cold times, but it's nice to layer over a sweater for an extra layer of warmth. I've been looking for a long time for a hooded cape that has a clasp around the neck rather than pulled over the head. I am very happy with this purchase as it meets all my initial needs.
