Stay Cool and Protected: Women's Lightweight Sun Protection Athletic T-Shirt Review

I liked everything but the head hole is small which makes it look like a turtleneck sweater. It felt too suffocating. I had to go back. I liked the color and the fact that it had a hood, but just couldn't wear it comfortably.

Bought this shirt for hiking. I would say it's good but not my favorite. I have a similar shirt from Patagonia that I love so much, maybe that's why I'm so strict with this one. I find the material too thick and not breathable enough. I bought a size smaller and it fits well. Not too loose and not too tight. At a good price.

This is a perfect option at a good price. The material is soft, the color pleasant, the cut appealing. The only drawback are the short sleeves. When my arms are stretched forward, they only reach my wrists. Using a thumb hole is out of the question. For comparison, look at the photo of another brand with the correct sleeve length (they are similar in color, look at the sleeves a little).

I wanted this for sun protection and I think I'll like it although I haven't used it yet. I like the color and the light weight of the material. And I was happy to find one with a sun hood around her neck. I think I was expecting it to be bulkier because my husband had a similar fisherman shirt and his size was bulky on him. But maybe more for training. I found it fit me well, not too tight and not too loose.

Worn for several hours hiking in high humidity on a 32 degree day. Large - size 12 with a chest is very comfortable, the seams do not rub, the material is soft. The absorbency is excellent, after the mud or sunscreen dries, it peels off. The smell resists. My only complaint is that the thumb holes are useful for using your finger to remove dirt from your eyes like sweat, sunscreen, or dirt. The sleeves end at the wrist. If sun protection is required, you need gloves.

Closes well and fits well. My shoulders are a bit tight, but I have more muscle in my shoulders than the average woman, so I can't blame them. The material is thin which is great for summer and the neckline hits the chin which I really like, the more coverage the better. If you burn easily but hate sunscreen, this hooded long sleeve running shirt is perfect for any summertime outdoor adventure.

Nice shirt but not quite proportionate as in the photo. The layered/lower back is imperceptible. When I put my thumbs in the thumb holes, I couldn't straighten my arm without tearing the sleeve. This is much shorter than the proportions in the photo. Model must be 5'2" or smaller based on overall length and sleeves in photo. CUTE SHIRT BUT DON'T WORRY IF YOU ARE 5" 4" OR LESS :) I HAVE THIS ITEM RETURNED as I couldn't straighten my arms.

I'm medium height and love the fit. It's a bit loose which I prefer. I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh 133 pounds. This is a great shirt for this early fall weather and a great base for hiking this fall. online photos. The hood fits well. Thumbholes are useful when worn with gloves, so I like having that option. I've been waiting for it to go on sale and it's a great buy at $10. I bought the black one after receiving this one. when it went on sale.

I ordered this shirt for hiking in the cooler fall weather. Knowing I wanted to be able to wear another shirt underneath this shirt, I specifically ordered a size larger than what I'm wearing on myself. This week I tried wearing this shirt alone but it's too small. With the hood up or down, the front of the shirt is tight enough around my neck that it hurts, and the shirt is barely long enough for my thumbs to fit through the thumbholes.
