Description of Enhance Your Cleaning Power with WORKSHOP Wet/Dry Vacs Vacuum Accessories WS25014A Wet/Dry Vac Floor Brush Attachment!

This wet dry vac floor brush is an ideal vacuum attachment for large area floor cleaning. The bristles on the shop vacuum brush attachment sweeps and vacuums up dust and dry debris. Fits most shop vacuum hoses or wands with a 2-1/2-inch diameter. 2-1/2-inch diameter vacuum attachments allows for larger sized debris collection and maximum airflow. 14" Wide floor brush vacuum attachment can cover a wide area quickly.

Good Woodworking Vacuum Nozzle

Suction comes from your shop vacuum, so all you have is all you get. But with sufficient suction power (from a 5hp handyman vacuum in my case), this attachment does a pretty good job of picking up sawdust from uneven surfaces like my 1/2″ thick textured rubber floor. The bristles are stiff enough that you can brush a little to knock out somewhat stubborn pockets; The ones you can't free are where those stray blobs of glue ended up. I would buy another.

  • Best
Cons
  • Long Wait

Works well after modifications

As others have said, the rear bristles are too long to be effective. Even tilting your nose forward doesn't help. I trimmed the sides and back of this attachment along its frame, also trimmed the front a bit and now it works fine. To get a straight cut, point the scissors in toward the frame. I have a 2.5hp 5 gallon vacuum, not the most powerful unit in the world but for home use it's fine with a regular bag installed. Modifications may not be needed for those with a more powerful vacuum.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great idea, albeit useless.

I really wanted you to like it. This met my floor cleaning needs after construction in the area was completed. Trouble is, it sucks. Well, that's not it, that's the problem. I replaced the vacuum cleaner filter and it still only picks up very light dust with a 12 gallon, 5 hp vacuum. Didn't collect residual dust from cutting tiles on the parquet floor. It's essentially a broom connected to a very noisy device. It sweeps objects into the corner well, so you can use your vacuum to pick up dirt.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Can hurt

Not designed by someone who sucks

I ordered this on recommendation for my 5 gallon VacMaster and it's great. It's so good it picks up every heavy rubber carpet I need to vacuum in my entryway. So I needed a brush that would keep the nozzle at the end of the hose from sucking up and sealing off moving objects like those heavy mats. However, this brush is designed backwards as it should work as such. It's completely ineffective for cleaning carpets as its design reduces suction power to almost nothing. I had to send it back but…

  • I'm looking forward to
