Everyone should have one

I've had the same set of Henkles knives for 30 years, thought it would be ok until I bought this one, what's the difference! My husband has cut himself several times with it. It's sharp and cuts through everything. Sometimes we get used to using things and it's easier than looking for a replacement but this knife is good I'm so glad I read the reviews to get this one.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Exquisite utility knife

I bought the same knife in the 1980's and the blade broke in half when my daughter accidentally dropped it on the floor. And I immediately bought it again because I liked it. I use it strictly as a tomato knife so I gave it a 4 for versatility. Because of its jagged edge, I'm not sure how to sharpen it. But Wüsthof and Henckel are the best. Nothing beats German steel and design.

Post, smoothest cut

Just cut 3 tomatoes easier than ever in my life. Seriously, it was amazing. This pile would bug me for 5-10 minutes with my old knife I used to use. 45 seconds maximum for this heap. Smooth; smooth. As. Silk. I also tried it with the title sausage (boiled sausage, to be precise). It also cuts very well. We've loved Wusthif for many years, but we never expected to notice the difference between budget and quality serrated knives. Very lucky to be wrong!

Good quality sharp knife

Mine arrived today and I immediately cut several tomatoes and peeled 2 pounds of strawberries that have been waiting for this knife. My god, this knife is sharp. I have both Wüsthof Classic and Zwilling/Henckels and while I prefer the hefty handles of Zwilling products (big hands) this blade is so amazing I have no regrets buying it. I'm so glad I didn't buy the originally planned 3 1/2" serrated paring knife and got a 5" utility knife instead.

Sensational kitchen and dining knife

Oh my god, this knife is amazing. In all my years of cooking I have never cut with a knife so precisely, quickly and cleanly. It's worth spending a few bucks more for a quality knife as I buy cheap knives from Pampered Chef to Bed Bath & Beyond and I don't get the chops and cuts in my food that I get with this knife. Wustof Classic is highly recommended by chefs and cutlers as one of the top brands they use in their work. Fantastic purchase and I rarely write reviews but this product has the…

Sturdy sturdy knife with good grip

I bought both the classic Wüsthof knife and this Zwilling knife and I liked them and to my surprise I prefer the Zwilling as it cuts straighter than the Wüsthof knife . Gemini is lighter (but not too heavy) and has a thinner blade, but the blade is strong enough. Good quality knives at a great price. The Wüsthof blade is thicker and the sharp edge is only on one side of the blade, so when cutting vegetables like cucumbers the blade tends to cut diagonally. The Wüsthof has a great handle and…

Wow! This is A seriously sharp serrated knife

I've had a longer bread/carving knife from TV and outlets for a long time that "can cut through cans" and "never needs to be sharpened" " and honestly I have a 10 year old Ginsoo that's still great for bread and joints. I also bought a newer set of 4 extra knives, all with a newer, sharper and sharper blade (not sure if that's the best cut). cutting board. All my chef's knives are Wüsthoff and I think they're excellent, but nothing prepared me for just how sharp this serrated knife is. It's…
