Not perfect out of the box - needs a bit of work before fitting

I deducted 2 stars due to some imperfections. The D-Pad gave me problems installing and using right off the bat. In short, the grip preventing you from pressing multiple D-Pad buttons (D-Pad stand) at once was too long. This means that after assembling the controller, I could barely press the D-Pad buttons and the button presses didn't register properly or consistently. To fix this I had to shave off about 1-2 millimeters of height from D. -Stand under the stand. Once I did that, it fittedโ€ฆ

That's what I've noticed with this product so far.

Overall these parts are pretty solid and not much heavier than standard plastic, meaning the controller still works the same for me, no difference in weight. Joysticks are good joysticks. People have complained and I also agree that the joysticks sit a little lower than they should. A decent little wad of paper stuck in the hole at the bottom of the joystick should lift it just enough for the spherical part to be flush with the bezel. If it's too high, just pinch the paper with something thinโ€ฆ

Bought 2 sets, both work great. You look great too!

I bought 2 sets (red and green) for 2 different PS4 controllers. I've never disassembled a PS4 controller before, so I watched a few YouTube videos for the recommended procedure. For the first controller I used a sharp pocket knife and CAREFULLY separated the 2 outsides of the controller by inserting the knife and bending it slightly. After a little effort, it came apart fairly easily. Overall, I was able to quickly get to the right sections to swap out these parts by following YouTube'sโ€ฆ
