Tried to use it on the ledge of the house and after 1 hour my boys gave up. The wires here are as thin as hair and get tangled easily. If you were just trying to part with the box, you had to sit down, take each wire and work it out. It was worth it, very good presentation. We used an old pool net that was set up at a cheap Walmart booth and bingo. nice pattern and looks very good. Just be patient when dividing the strands.

It took a long time to unravel and unwrap, but it was worth it. If you start at the bottom and work slowly/carefully they will separate. Work one strand at a time! The faster and more aggressively you deal with them, the more entangled they become. As soon as they got up they looked INCREDIBLE. They are easy to manipulate and the length was perfect for our case. I will definitely buy these again!

**Update: Lights lasted 8 months - they worked well while working and working 24/7** I used this item to light up a group of to wrap branches. This is in my living room, where there is a dark corner even during the day. Whilst the product appears to work well I don't think they could have put it any harder if they had put more effort . All the strands were twisted together and tight and kinked again and again. Hanging is very difficult as the bulbs stick out far enough to catch on the somewhat stiff wiring. If they covered each wire with a thin plastic tube or used a wire that didn't hold all the turns, we were able to untangle it easily, but from the looks of it we spent over an hour attaching it to the tire.
