Poor quality, made in China. Not even polished! Could it be a cork oak? Very soft and had very rough edges from the saw blade. It had dents, possibly from another instrument. I wouldn't pay more than $4 for it and I also think it will rub off as it's not varnished or protected at all. I was very disappointed and am sending it back. I am sorry.

Arrived quickly from the seller. The seller has followed the customer service very well. The Chinese made product is of poor quality and a new hole had to be drilled to match the holes in the cage. Also, for a large cage like mine, you'll need large metal washers for the wing nuts to hold them in place. My cockatoo chewed wood easily because it was soft. In the end I didn't expect more because of the low price.

I thought it was too small for my Congo African Grey. NOT CORRECT. she loves them I hung one higher next to the full spectrum light and the other on the opposite side of the cage. She dangles from them, enjoying the rays or just feeling like she's on a flat surface. These are cheaply made, not cool manufactures, with slightly crooked screws. I do not care . My gray loves them, that makes them GREAT.
