Terrible quality that has ruined many coffee pots

We used to only use these filters with no problems but the last two times we bought them the quality was terrible. Over half of our coffee grounds will leak at least 30% of the time. We started double filtering hoping that would solve the problem, but no! Based on our success with these filters so far, we've decided we must have a bad batch, so give them another chance to run into the exact same issue. Forget the money wasted on filters, we spent a lot more on the good coffee pots that we had…

Pros
  • Disposable filters
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I wanted to please them.

If your brewer fully supports the filter, then this could be for you. However, if you expect your filter to be held together with a ground support (like Chemex or similar) then you may be disappointed. (Even with the folded edges I always do.) They have one seam compared to the Melitta which has two rows of seams. A single pressed seam can actually create continuous channels for small particles to pass through. Or, even worse, it can separate completely and you'll see the water and soil settle…

Pros
  • Coffee filter
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!

I have been using these filters for a few years and my coffee maker adjusts without any problems. In the current box that I received, 50% of the filters failed with a failure at the bottom of the filter, which not only resulted in the loss of the filter, but also the coffee being ground at the bottom of the coffee post. This has clearly become a somewhat costly and frustrating problem. I contacted the company about this issue and they immediately said that these filters should not be used with…

Pros
  • Spare parts and accessories for coffee and espresso machines
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
