Runs on a 1kW wind turbine

Our wind turbine runs at 2kW all the time, we live on an island in Maine with strong winter winds, the thing gets very hot, we have it mounted on a radiator, but without a last name. Survived the winter, impressed.

Pros
  • High quality, one year warranty
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

Revainrating 5 out of 5

heavy construction and very low voltage drop

Used with 800w wind turbines which often exceed 1500w during storms so had to upgrade from 100amp to avoid It overheats and once installed on a decent heatsink it works great with at least a 10% increase in performance due to fewer limitations and temperature issues.

Pros
  • Has large overcurrent capability, good heat dissipation and low voltage drop
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other lockpicks

powered by a 1kW wind turbine

Our wind turbine puts out 2kW all the time, we live on an island in Maine with strong winter winds, this thing hardly gets hot, we installed it on a radiator fam. Survived the winter, impressed.

Pros
  • Power accessories
Cons
  • Some little things

Getting hot on power accessories

Use this to combine 3 strings of PV modules into one output without using the negative side. It works great, but the thing gets very hot. Pushing through about 1900 watts (120V @ 16 amps max) will generate some heat. I'll try installing on a larger heatsink and see how it works.

Pros
  • Power Converter
Cons
  • Fits

Heavy construction and very low voltage drop

Used on an 800 watt wind turbine, which often reaches over 1500 watts during storms, i.e. had to go from 100 amperes to avoid overheating and was also installed for a good radiator. This works great with at least a 10% increase in performance due to fewer restrictions and temperature issues.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Vulgarity
