My old goto brand. good for CPU fan

When I choose mobo I find the best overclock I can find and the same for CPU is never the best always for the dollar and then I never overclock . I started using Zalman products a long time ago and I love the performance and at the time the fans were top notch and I may not overclock but I use my hardware 24/7. So I'm now opting for newer stock and prefer Noctua if I can afford it, but for now choose your light color with price in mind and some Zalman products are an absolute steal. By the way,

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The best CPU cooler ever! Can't win for $35.

Easy to clean without removing the heatsink, a toothbrush is enough. With its 135 mm fan, it moves a lot of air. The blue LED is not too bright, which is less annoying. Keeps my i7 4770K super cold. Installation was easy too.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Neat product. Recommended especially for the price I paid.

Includes tool which is handy as one end is for tilting in hard to reach places but when you're trying to tighten straight down it's too small so I use my own allen wrenches anyway had to . Be careful, the metal they use for the Intel 1155 socket screws looks like a cheap alloy. I'm not sure about the other screws, but I would suspect the same. This makes them very easy to take off. Unless you're particularly mechanical, you're likely to have a little trouble. With the step-by-step instructions,

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Neutral

I passed the disappointment test!

What a terrible installation! But I passed the disappointment test. Warning, don't buy this unless you have a helper, better tools and lots of patience. I bought one of these for the 4960 a few years ago so I forgot how bad it is. The fan will get in the way of any tool that fits directly into the screws, so use an allen wrench with a long flexible head. The flexible hex wrench turns in the screw heads, making this a nightmare for those who don't have the best tools. I was able to tighten the…

Installation is difficult but doable. Measure twice. cut once.

Installed CNPS9900-MAX to replace CNPS10X Optima which prevented me from using 1 of 4 memory slots on my MB (ASUS Prime Z270M-Plus). I was able to reuse the brace installed on the underside of the MB, but the bolts had to be replaced as an Allen wrench had to be used to tighten the bolts. In addition to using new bolts, I had to replace the nuts as the CNPS9900 nuts are larger than the CNPS10X nuts. I had to do this twice through my own fault. I didn't pay attention to which way the fan was…

Best value cooler

Screw removed but I take the blame as I installed the cooler without removing the motherboard. The instructions were clear and installation was easy. If I removed the motherboard it would be a no-brainer. The cooler is big. It barely fits in the Coolermaster Storm Scout. The kit included a large syringe of thermal paste and all the necessary equipment. I bought another one for another build and can pick another one up to keep. For $20 you just can't go wrong, I remember when they were sky high.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Available in white only
