Good for car travel accessories

Good for two German Shepherds in the back seat. While we're up front, they're still sniffing the sides, but that doesn't remove the entire barrier. We just loosen one side so Vesti can move forward when there aren't big ones around. Fits my Jeep Cherokee.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

  • I will add later

Truck or RV good for car travel accessory

Haven't used it for its intended purpose in a RV yet... I installed one of these in my husband's truck and it works perfectly. It protects puppies from the front seat while still providing access and visibility. For an RV I bought this to mount to two walls to keep our supplies from sliding off the bed we will be using for storage while we travel.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Worse than no barrier at all

Useless. It's very unclear how this is supposed to connect, and it's not because our SUV is too narrow for this thing to fit. It sags at the top and in all the corners, so naturally our Vizsla is trying to squeeze through. So we have a panicked dog that gets stuck halfway, which is a lot more dangerous than no barrier at all. Too bad we didn't waste our money on it and just went for the metal barrier.

Ideal for large, well-behaved dogs

I drive a Subaru Impreza hatchback. It fits well but I had to get creative with the setup and how to keep the elastic cords taut. I threaded the bottom corners through the loop at the base of the harness and then tied a knot. For the top corners, I wrapped the cord around the top of the seat belt retractor, then up through the ceiling handles and then to the mesh. My dog is very obedient and big (Great Dane). However, if you have a small dog who is determined to make himself known, this product

In addition to jury rigging.

Bought two. Attached a 15" overlap of two plastic zip ties to cover the entire rear of the SUV. Then use cable ties to attach to the handle on the ceiling of the SUV. I tightened them and the slack on top was tightened! I then bought two short tension rods and attached them to the sides of the net with small cable ties. They fit snugly on the top and back of the SUV. Why, you ask, all this inventive jury juggling. We are traveling with TWO cats. A litter box and a place to scratch, toys, food…

Good product but easy to hack

This product is (relatively) easy to install and makes your pet feel like part of a group and is easy to put on and take off. For some pets, the main disadvantage is that they can get through easily enough by pressing on the grate at the top between the seats. I'll experiment with reinforcing this with a pole or something; no solution yet. Adding a bushing with a bar insert would have helped. So if you have an obedient dog, it will probably work just fine. Other dogs will take this as a…

Good visual barrier, normal physical barrier

Good product just note that it serves as a visual barrier rather than a physical barrier. ) and go into the store (yes the windows are broken and no we don't leave them there in the heat or extreme cold), my labrador puppy likes to jump in the front seat. We have this mesh to prevent that, but it leaves room at the top and sides for her to squeeze through. This is how we always warm up the driver or passenger seat when we get back in the car :-(If your dog is obedient and stays in his place in…

Sagging but does the job

We had a multi-day trip planned and used it to keep the cat from crawling into the front seats. Kitty didn't try to go through the center console, but she did try to go where the screen wouldn't slide out. She tried, but we didn't let her succeed, so she finally gave up. Same goes for crawling under the barrier. The barrier delivered to us has holes for eyelets and no sewn-in loop. Ours would always sag in the middle, and no amount of bungee configuration in different bushing holes would take…
