Not the right product.

In the photo the filter is rectangular, but I have a wedge-shaped one. :( I will use them eventually but I didn't get what I expected.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Good value for money for small tanks.

This filter is designed for small applications so works well and is easy to maintain. The only thing they have to decide is the hoses as they can kink very easily, maybe some kind of adjusted angle for different settings would be useful.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Slightly torn

A must have for your turtles

I have been using ZooMed products for many years. I use these filters in my TC30 filter and they do a great job of trapping debris. I tried another brand and immediately noticed how dirty the water got. With proper care, these filters will last a long time between cleanings. I usually hose them down. It's pretty easy.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some little things

I still use the one that came with the filter.

I purchased and received a canister filter for my daughter's 34 year old turtle for a 150 gallon aquarium. Unfortunately, it cannot keep the water clean. She still has to change the water and clean the filter once a week. Her tank is also only 80 gallons. So we bought a large filter to avoid the horrible work of cleaning by hand, buckets, etc.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Fits
