Zwilling J Henckels 30070 103 Paring Review

I hated chopping and peeling vegetables until I treated myself to a 4 inch Henckels paring knife. Who cares, a good knife Cooking ingredients for salads and other dishes is now a pleasure.

This is a great knife. I've had a few open-shank Henckels in the past and prefer this style - they're easier to maneuver. It is forged, made in Germany, sharp like everything else in the world and stays sharp for many years.

Excellent quality. These knives will accompany you for a lifetime. Cutting is easy - I never knew what I was missing until I bought quality knives. Note: Zwilling JA Henckels Twin Four Star knives are made in Germany. They are identified by a double logo. Do not confuse them with Henckels International knives. They are made by the same company but are different and cheaper. They are identified by the logo of a single person, not a twin.

I have three large knives from the same knife family. All are incredibly good. Can't say enough good things about her. They are all worth the high price I paid for them. They hold a razor sharp edge well. However, for some reason this knife needs to be sharpened about every third use. It doesn't seem to hold the edge which is why I spent so much money on it. This is a great paring knife. I have had many different lines of Zwilling knives over the years and they recommend hand washing them. I believe you should follow these instructions to keep them looking new. I will say that these Twin Four Star II knives are probably the best in the dishwasher. As far as I know they are autoclavable. I've washed them in the dishwasher many times and they still look brand new, which is not the case with my Kroniduras.
