I've lost about $80 using this company. Their fees are outrages! Should have never sent them my BTC. Basically, if you want to load your card you must exchange your BTC for USD. Then if you don't use the card they charge you fees every 90 days for being inactive. There is no warning for this. I wanted to have a backup card loaded with $100 for an emergency. That didn't work out so well because I, unfortunately, chose BitPay.
My $100 in BTC turned into about $50 after all the fees for opening a new account, getting a card, sending BTC to BitPay, then converting the BTC to USD. So after my $100 worth of BTC was now loaded onto my card and only worth $50. I dealt with it, didn't complain. Now I had no idea there was an "inactivity fee". So now my original $100 to $50 is now $20. So basically I just wasted $80 on absolutely nothing and will be making sure to spend the leftover $20 as soon as possible so it doesn't turn into $0.
BitPay is the worst BTC service I have ever encountered. Please stay far far away!
