I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the filters. They fit the Neato Botvac D3 snugly and if anything they can be tighter than the original filter as it was a bit more difficult to remove than the stock filter. Anyway, that was a relief when I saw reviews of other filters saying they were too loose and falling out, even though they weren't Hongfa filters. I can't compare the quality to the original Neato purple filter and count the number of pleats as I had a lower quality pleat free filter that came with my D3 but I can say this generic is definitely an upgrade. For those of you wondering, Hongfa filters have 10 pleats/pleats. Also, each filter is individually wrapped so they don't collect dust, which is nice. I just don't want "Hongfa" printed on the filters. It reminds me everyday how cheap I am haha. Although I am a satisfied customer. By the way, another reviewer said there was a lot of glue around the edges as if they couldn't find the right size filter. I can see that it has glue around the edges but this review seems overdone to me. Again, I can't compare it to the original, but in my opinion glue seems like the only way to get an airtight seal so all airflow is filtered.
