Review on 🖊️ Copic Marker Drawing Pen, Fine Tip, Black by Michelle Langley

I bought this with moderate expectations, hoping for a disposable line drawing fountain pen that I didn't have to struggle with. Unfortunately, I don't understand the point at all, especially considering the price. Note. I usually use either Copic Multiliners, a G or Maru nib and a Pentel Fude Brush Pen. Barely manages to get a noticeable change in line gauge. To get a thicker line I have to press down on the pen so hard it wants to tear the paper, which brings me to my next problem. I applied quite a bit of pressure trying to get a thicker line so that the pen bled (barely) visibly when I did the ink almost stopped flowing. I guess the tip warped a bit so bending back gave me some flow again, but it's very inconsistent. To get a decent flow (a little) I have to flick the pen to get the ink in the pen, which of course scatters the ink around the room with no booth or just throws the ink in the cap with it. ➂ The ink is not really black, at least not dark. It looks almost gray next to the "SuperBlack" speedball or the "Black 4" deleter I usually use. Pros: If you are happy with the ink color and don't need variable line width. .②Works well with light strokes that don't point downwards.➂Constant line width (if that's what you want)④Light in hand and comfortable enough.⑤The ink dries at a good speed.Overall I think this isn't a BAD pen, but for not me I don't see any sense in my goals. Layered lines are great when I need an even line width, they're cheaper and easier to use. If I need variable line thickness, dip or brush pens are much better.
